Jean-Michel Deligny

Managing Director

Jean-Michel Deligny is the Founder and Managing Director of Go4Venture. Created in 2000, Go4Venture is an investment bank specialising in structuring and executing growth strategies for fast-growing innovative companies and their shareholders.  Over the past 10 years, Go4Venture has become particularly well-known for its international equity private placements services, where it has reached a position of leadership, especially in the software, telecom and digital media sectors. 

Jean-Michel has over 20 years of investment banking and European technology industry experience.  Following an initial career as a strategy consultant with Coopers and Lybrand, Jean-Michel, moved to investment banking in the early 1990s, first with Broadview International, the technology and media focused M&A advisory firm and then with UBS.

At Broadview, Jean-Michel was responsible for managing the company's most prestigious clients, and worked on over 35 public and private transactions in the technology and IT services sectors. He then joined UBS as European Head of Technology Investment Banking, where he set-up the European operation of the bank’s Global Technology Group and was responsible for deal origination across Europe, Israel and South Africa.

Jean-Michel has established himself as one of the most respected professionals and networkers in European Technology Finance, and is regularly invited to speak at key international events.  He holds an MBA from Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) business school, Paris, France.

Marie Kluth

Marie Kluth has over 16 years experience in the technology sector.  Most recently an independent corporate finance advisory consultant, Marie previously held senior finance management roles at software companies including CFO of AIM-listed Corpora Plc (now Infonic) and Finance Director at Autodesk, where she led major acquisition, cost reduction and restructuring initiatives. 

Before this, Marie was a vice president and senior analyst covering software in Credit Suisse First Boston’s top-ranked equity research group.  Prior to her investment and finance career, she was a manager in Ernst & Young’s entrepreneurial management consulting team, focused on providing operational and strategic advice to technology companies in California’s Silicon Valley.  Marie started her career in sales and sales operations at AT&T. 

Marie holds an MBA from University of California, Berkeley and a BA in economics and computer science from UCLA.

Jean-Yves Quentel

Jean-Yves is an experienced technology start-up and venture capital executive with more than 13 years of experience on both sides of the eco-system.

After starting his career in 1992 in Moscow, Jean-Yves joined in 1994 the Paris office of Atlas Venture, a trans-Atlantic, high-tech venture capital firm, as an Investment Analyst. From 1994 to 1999, Jean-Yves worked on European and US software and consumer services transactions such as Ilog (Nasdaq: ILOG), AlloCine, now owned by Vivendi, SpotFire, recently acquired by TIBCO, Castle Networks (later sold to Siemens) and Omnia Communications (sold to Ciena). In 1999, Jean-Yves left Atlas Venture to join the expanding Europatweb as a Senior Vice President and one of the Internet holding company's first European employees. While at Europatweb, Jean-Yves, in addition to being actively involved in growing the global Europatweb team, led and monitored a number of investments, mostly in the consumer-to-consumer auction space. One of his deals, EachNet, was sold to eBay in 2002. In 2002, Jean-Yves joined Logispring, a venture capital fund focused on supply chain technology investments as a Partner where he led the fund's investments in SeeWhy (real-time business intelligence; UK), Solsoft (network security policy management; France) and Xterprise (RFID integration services; US). He was also closely involved in the investment in Optiant, a Boston-based provider of supply chain optimization software.

Jean-Yves is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC), one of France's Grandes Ecoles of business.

Johan Quintus

Associate Director

Before to joining Go4Venture, Johan was with the investment banking team of Friedman Billings Ramsey (FBR) in London.

Johan moved to FBR following a number of years with Internet Business Group PLC (IBG) where he led the early stage venture capital investment team and was also a key member of the management team that successfully floated the company on the London Stock Exchange (AIM).

Johan has a BA in Economics from from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Ardeshir Pahlabod

Senior Analyst

Ardeshir joined Go4Venture in 2008 after two years working as an analyst in the TMT sector team of Nomura International's investment banking division in London. There, he worked on a number of technology and telecommunications transactions including the privatisation of several Eastern European telecom incumbents, the sale of a mobile software company and several capital raising deals in the renewables space. Prior to Nomura, Ardeshir completed an internship in Japan working in Tokyo as an e-learning coordinator at Seibido Corporation.

Ardeshir graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London with a BA in Japanese and passed the International Program at Waseda University in Tokyo. He speaks English and Japanese.

 

Andrew Amiel

Analyst

Andrew graduated from the NYU Stem School of Business with a double major in International Business and Finance, whilst also taking a class at the investment banking institute in an intensive valuation and modeling course based on private equity transactions.

Although only recently graduated, Andrew has secured an impressive amount of experience through internships - Working at BNP Paribas (Lon) as part of the FIG team, Alegro Capital (Lon), Messier Partners (NY), Merrill Lynch (NY) as a Financial Advisor, Laidlaw & Co (NY) as a Stock Broker, Elite Property Group (NY) Associate/Analyst, Stars & Stripes (Belgium/China) - selling and distributing Diamonds to clients worldwide.

Andrew is also able to speak 5 languages.

 

Annie Quinn

Office Manager

Annie has over 20 years of experience in Office Management. Prior to joining Go4Venture, Annie spent 7 years at an executive search firm for Information Technology and Communications as an Operations Director overseeing all aspects of office management including finance, HR and IT support on a global basis.

Before this Annie spent 3 years at Booz Allen & Hamilton as a European Recruitment Coordinator for Information Technology. 

Ian McLoughlin

Special Advisor

Ian combines private equity and financial engineering expertise with a background in technology. Formerly at Allianz Capital Partners (the dedicated private equity arm of one of the world's largest insurers) Ian was part of the private equity team which grew the business from a start-up to one of the biggest German private equity operations. Prior to that, Ian worked at Nikko Europe in their principal investment division. Ian has a PhD in computer modelling from Imperial College, London.
